After many leaks and rumours, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has quietly launched its new smartphone called Galaxy M11, which is the successor of a Galaxy M10 and the same was unveiled in last year. The new smartphone is listed in the UAE division of the company and also pops-up on the retail stores in Abu Dhabi.
Specifications of Samsung Galaxy M11
The smartphone features a 6.4 inch Infinity-O display and that is Samsung’s term for the punch hole design and it also comes with HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by an Octa Core processor and Samsung did not reveal the name of chipset, and the device is paired with 3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it comes with 32GB internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Galaxy M11 rocks a triple camera setup and that is in the combination of a 13 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture followed by a 5 MP wide-angle snapper with f/2.2 aperture as well as a115 degrees field of view, and a 2 MP depth sensor for portrait images. The smartphone also has an 8 MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus. For security, the smartphone supports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Galaxy M11 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy M11 runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top, and the smartphone packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
Pricing and availability
The company has yet to announce the pricing details of the smartphone and we also don’t know the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
