Last month Samsung once again made its name in the budget smartphone category with Galaxy M series. They launched two smartphones in the series named as Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10, which are the most value for money smartphone by Samsung till date. Both pack some very interesting specifications with aggressive price. From last month we are hearing a lot about another sibling from this series, and today Samsung launched the same, the Galaxy M30. So let’s have a look at this third device from this new series.
This Galaxy M30 looks exactly the same as Galaxy M20. Actually, there are only a few differences here & there, so lets talk only about them. Starting with the display, it has slightly larger 6.4 inch TFT display with 2340 x 1080 Full HD+ resolution. Along with 4GB+64GB configuration, it also has another variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Coming to last difference, this Galaxy M30 has a triple camera setup at the back. Primary camera is a 13MP sensor with f1.9 lens, secondary camera is a 5MP ultra wide-angle sensor with f2.2 lens, and lastly the third one is a 5MP depth sensor. The front camera is now a 16MP sensor. Rest other specifications like Exynos 7904 chipset and 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging is same as Galaxy M20.
Pricing & Availability:
- 4+64GB variant is priced at Rs.14,990 ($210)
- 6+128GB variant is priced at Rs.17,990 ($252)

So that’s all the information we have as of now. The 4GB RAM variant is a very good purchase for the asking price, but only if you are not a gamer. It can handle most of the heavy games at medium graphics, but there are plenty of other options available with better CPU and GPU at this price point. But for a non-gamer who wants a brand security, this is the perfect smartphone as of now. What are your thoughts on this Galaxy M30? Let us know in the comment section below.
