Samsung Galaxy M31s Launched In India With Quad Rear Cameras

As expected, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has launched its new mid-range smartphone in the market of India and the device is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy M31s. The newly launched smartphone is coming with massive battery capacity along with a 64 megapixel camera sensor. So, without wasting any time let’s check out the complete specifications along with the pricing and availability details of the new smartphone.

Specifications of Samsung Galaxy M31s

The smartphone sports a 6.5 inch full HD+ super AMOLED display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution and it also features infinity-O and that is Samsung’s term for the waterdrop-like notch. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor and the device is paired with 6/8GB of RAM. in terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128 GB of internal storage with the UFS 2.1 storage and that can be expandable up to 512 GB via microSD card.

Speaking about the photography department, the Galaxy M31s rocks a quad-camera setup and that is in the combination of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with Sony IMX682 along with an f/1.8 aperture followed by a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens as well as a field of view (FoV) of 123 degrees, a 5-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The camera department also supports Live Focus and the same is an enhanced bokeh effect, and also features a dedicated night mode, super steady mode, and super slo-mo. On the front, the smartphone supports the 32-megapixel with 4K and slo-mo video recording. The smartphone also supports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security along with the traditional security options.

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy M31 runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top, and the smartphone packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

Pricing and availability

The 6GB variant of the smartphone is priced at ₹19,499 and the 8 GB variant of the new Galaxy M31s will cost ₹21,499 and the same will available through Amazon India and the official website of Samsung. It will go on sale from August 6.
