We’re just a couple of days away from the official announcement of the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 20 series at the Samsung Unpacked 2020 event, and the company will also announce a couple of more devices during the event and this year the company will host the event online only. Well, now the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices surfaced online in full glory, reveals the specifications and offers a glimpse at the devices.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20
Let’s start with the vanilla variant of the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series and the smartphone said to come with a flat display and the device will have a 60Hz refresh rate. The device said to come with a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The device will also come with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and that will be available under the display.
It will be powered by the in-house Exynos 990 processor in the market of Europe and we can expect that the device will have Snapdragon chipset at its heart in the United States and other parts of the world, the device will also come with an 8GB of RAM along with 256 GB of internal storage and it cannot be expandable, the device will not come with 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Talking about the camera, the main rear camera of the Galaxy Note 20 feature a 12 MP f/1.8 sensor with huge 1.8um pixel size, and dual-pixel autofocus, followed by an ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4um pixels, and the same has a 64 MP 3x zoom cam, with f/2.0 aperture and 1um pixels. 30x hybrid zoom will be offered, and support for 8K video recording. It will also feature a 10 MP selfie camera at the centered punch-hole. This device will be available in 4G as well as 5G.
The device will be IP68 certified, and it also has dual-SIM as well as eSIM support, it will pack a 4,300 mAh battery with the included adapter in the box and supports Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. The S Pen is a signature element of the Galaxy Note series and the device will support the same with the 26 MS latency.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Coming to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it tipped to feature 6.9 inch WQHD+ display with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio along with a 120Hz refresh rate and the same supports Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display and support 10MP selfie camera with dual-pixel autofocus and an in-display fingerprint reader and the device will be the first smartphone to feature Gorilla Glass 7.
It will be powered by Exynos 990 SoC in Europe along with 12GB RAM and the smartphone will have 256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The device will rock a triple camera setup – 108MP, 12MP ultrawide, and 12MP telephoto lens. The primary camera will record 8K videos and come with omnidirectional and laser autofocus.
It will pack 4,500 mAh battery and the S Pen stylus with 9ms latency, the smartphone will support 5G, USB Type-C 3.2, Bluetooth 5.x, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, dual-frequency GPS, Samsung DeX, IP68 rating, wireless charging, and AKG-tuned stereo speaker.
