Usually, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung uses the Snapdragon chipset in its flagship devices in the limited markets and that’s because to offer local service support. However, today we got a new piece of information which suggests that Samsung’s in-house Exynos department is going to lose something big in next year.
According to the source, Samsung will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor in its upcoming Galaxy S11 series in more parts of the world and that means next year we will witness a big change in the Samsung flagship smartphones, As till now, the company use the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset in very small part of the world.
The source also says that the company will launch the Galaxy S11 series with Exynos chipset only in Europe and other markets including its home country i.e. South Korea will also come with Snapdragon 865 processor.
It is worth to mention that recently Samsung announced that it will use MediaTek 5G processor for its Budget smartphones and now it seems that the company slowly switching to the Qualcomm and MediaTek processors from its own chipset and we believe that the difference of performance would be the main reason for this switch.
