Key Points:
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Series to be expanded.
- The 4G variant of the Galaxy S20 Ultra Surfaces.
- Samsung Indonesia website listed the LTE variant.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 series was in the headlines for the past couple of months and it was said that the company will not launch the 4G variant of the new Galaxy S20 series, and the devices will only support 5G connectivity. Having said that, the company officially announced the new Galaxy S20 devices in the last week, but now a 4G variant of the Galaxy S20 Ultra surfaced online and that means the company is now in the mood to launch a non 5G variant of the smartphone.
Since the official announcement of the Galaxy S20 series at the Galaxy unpacked event, Samsung websites such as Indonesia have listed the 4G variant of the Galaxy S20 Ultra as the name reads Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra LTE. Well, it is enough evidence to believe that the company will launch the 4G variant of the device as well.
Having said that, we don’t have any information about the specification details of the new variant but we believe that the company will keep the features and specifications identical and only the connectivity options will be different and that may be tweaked via software.
So, let’s wait for the official announcement of the new 4G variant of the latest Galaxy S20 Ultra and we think that Samsung is doing right as there are many parts of the country where 5G is not adopted yet and providing the 4G connectivity will help the company to make an attractive price tag in certain countries.
