The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is one of the highly anticipated flagship smartphone series of this year and the company officially announced the smartphone series during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event of 2023. The latest Samsung Galaxy S23 sports a 6.1 inch screen and Galaxy S23 Plus features a 6.6 inch screen. Both devices feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 48-120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphones are also featuring a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and the display of the devices is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The devices can also play HDR10+ content and offers a peak brightness of up to 1,750 nits.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 & Galaxy S23 Plus are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset along with 8GB LPDDR5x RAM and upto 256GB UFS 4.0 storage (UFS 3.1 for the 128GB variant). The devices are running on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 out of the box. Regarding the connectivity options, the devices are supporting 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, UWB (only Plus version), and USB 3.2 (Type-C).

In terms of pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing starts at $799 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage variant and the pricing of the Plus model starts at $999. The devices will be available in the colour options like Phantom Black, Green, Cream, or Lavender. The devices are currently available for pre-order and the same will be available for purchase from February 17.
