The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially introduced the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The smartphone lineup includes the Samsung Galaxy S24 along with the Plus and Ultra variants. Apart from impressive specifications, the devices are loaded with new AI features. Everything about Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus
The latest Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus feature similar specifications in multiple departments but the display department makes them different. The vanilla variant features a 6.2-inch display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, while the S24 Plus variant comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 3120 X 1440 pixels resolution. The vanilla variant features 418ppi of pixel density while the Plus variant has 516ppi. Both devices feature a brightness of 2600 nits along with 1 to 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. The devices come with a small cut-out on the top of the screen to accommodate the front facing camera.

Speaking about the camera department, the latest Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus features a 50-megapixel wide primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, 85-degree field of view and OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens and a 120-degree field-of-view, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens and 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture. The device also comes with a 12-megapixel selfie sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens and an 80-degree field-of-view.
The vanilla variant and the Plus variant come with the power of the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor in selected regions. The Indian models will come with the power of the Exynos chipset. The Samsung Galaxy S24 comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage while the Plus variant comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The latest Samsung Galaxy S24 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery while the Plus variant houses a 4,900mAh capacity. The vanilla variant comes with 25W charging support and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus features a 45W charging solution. The devices also support Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare features as well.
Regarding the connectivity options, the devices support 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi direct, and a USB Type-C port. They are IP68-rated dust- and water-resistant and the company features Samsung Knox security, Passkeys, and support for the company’s Knox Vault. The devices come with stereo speakers tuned by AKG and the devices feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner as well. The company has also introduced new AI features on the body including circle to search, live translation, chat assistant, note assistant, and voice recording assistant. Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Samsung Galaxy S24 with 128 GB storage option has a price tag of $799.99 while the 256 GB storage option is having a price of $859.99. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus with 128 GB storage option comes with a price tag of $999.99 and the 256 GB storage variant comes with a price of $1199.99. The devices will be available from January 31 in selected Markets and the pricing for the market of India is yet to be confirmed.
