The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is gearing up to launch its next generation flagship lineup called the Samsung Galaxy S24 series and the same will include the Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra. Today the launching date of the smartphone series along with pre-booking date and sales date appears online. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
It is reported that the company will be launching the upcoming flagship lineup globally on January 17 next year and the pre-booking of the upcoming Samsung will be starting on the same day of launching and the shipping will be happening between January 26 and 30. The general sale of the Galaxy S24 series is slated to commence on January 30.
Samsung Galaxy S24 & S24 Plus
Both devices will feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2x LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The devices are expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and Exynos 2400 SoC in selected markets. The devices will offer up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Both of them will be running on the latest Android 14 out of the box.
It is also reported that the devices will come with a 50 MP primary lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The devices will also feature a 12MP front facing camera. The devices will come with a 4,700mAh and 4,900mAh battery respectively along with 45W wired charging and wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2x LTPO panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will come with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 2TB storage. It will run on the Android 14 operating system out of the box and the smartphone will house a 5,000mAh battery along with 45W wired charging and wireless charging.
It will feature a 200 MP primary lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera of the device will be a 12MP sensor. The device is also expected to come with a Titanium Frame and IP68 water and dust resistance.
