The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge (which was previously expected to be called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim) was confirmed by the company during the event of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series last month. The company is expected to launch the device in the second quarter of this year and today the upcoming phone is leaked online once again with some crucial details. According to the latest information, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung had two prototypes for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge in testing. The leaked renders were based on an early prototype that showcased a triple rear camera setup. However, the source says that Samsung chose the slimmer prototype B which has two cameras and a more compact form factor.
The new report also says that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge will measure 158.2 x 75.5 x 5.84 mm. It is also reported by the reliable tipster Ice Universe that the device will house a 3,900mAh battery. It is also reported that the device will feature a 200-megapixel HP2 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, with no dedicated telephoto camera.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature an LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. The device will also come with Samsung’s Armor Aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The device is also expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor along with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. It is expected to run on Android 15 with One UI 7. The device will be supporting 25W wired charging and wireless charging.
