The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has finally launched the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. The devices come with AI features along with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor. This article is dedicated to the vanilla variant and the Plus variant. Both devices look similar to the previous generation and they come in Navy, Mint, Icy Blue, and Silver Shadow colour options. The devices feature 6.2-inch and 6.7″ displays respectively. The vanilla variant features an FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display while the Plus model comes with a QHD+ resolution.
The devices come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The devices also come with a larger VC cooling. Both devices come with 12 GB of RAM and the variant comes with up to 256 GB of internal storage while the Plus variant comes with up to 512 GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the devices come with the advanced “Object-aware Engine” and the same is capable of detecting the subject of an image, recognizing the lighting of the environment, and modifying skin tones to make it look “more natural and true to life.”
The devices feature a 12MP ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view, a 50MP wide camera with OIS, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, and the devices also feature a 12MP front camera. The devices house 4000mAh and 4900mAh batteries and support 25W and 45W wired charging respectively. Both devices run on Android 15 with One UI 7 out of the box.
Both devices feature 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and Qi2 wireless charging standard. Now let’s talk about the highlighting element of the devices and it is the AI features.
Let’s start with the new Now Brief, it will be offering important information summarized in one place including the weather information and your energy score. Samsung has also introduced the NowBar which is capable of showing certain important information right on the lock screen. It is similar to the dynamic island of Apple iPhone models. Samsung has also enhanced the Galaxy AI and the same can generate call transcripts and summarize them on-device.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the starting price of the vanilla variant is $799 while the Plus model has a starting price of $999. The devices will be available from February 7.
