The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is currently working on its next generation Samsung Galaxy S series of smartphones and today the existence of two heavy weights are confirmed. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26 Ultra appears on GSMA IMEI database. The devices will be official next year.
It is spotted that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge is registered under model number SM-S947U on the IMEI database along with the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra carries model numbers SM-S948U and SM-S948N. It is worth mentioning that the “U” suffix denotes the US variants, while “N” points to the South Korean version.
The listing does not offer any other information about the devices but it is really interesting to know that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge appears alongside the Ultra in the IMEI database. This could be a hint that the company might be launching the device along with the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series instead of this year as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was announced separately.
So let’s wait for more details about the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone series and you guys are recommended to stick with us for more updates from the world of technology.
