According to Ice Universe. Samsung is currently planning to use a CoE OLED panel on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. CoE stands for Color Filter of Encapsulation and this will be bringing multiple upgrades.
The new display technology will be using a colour filter instead of the typical polarizer and switches the standard PDL (pixel definition layer) with a black PDL (via SamMobile).
