The business-grade Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 tablet launched in India with S-Pen targeted for rugged users priced at Rs 50,990.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 is MIL-STD 810G certified tablet with some enhancement made to feel the premium price. The Workplace targeted Tablet will come with an improved S-Pen and comes with Pogo Pins for attaching additional accessories which are meant for business users.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active2 features an 8-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1280 x 899 pixels. The Display is enhanced to be usable even with wet hands. Powering the Tablet, Samsung Exynos 7870 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of Internal storage which is pathetic in 2019, even for a normal user who use it for day to day applications. Then think how can it be useful for a business class user or a premium customer who buys it for its purpose?
The Optical specifications are so simple with an 8-megapixel rear shooter lens and the 5-megapixel front shooter with face unlock features. In addition to it, The Tab also supports fingerprint sensor for primary security function. The US variant announced with Android 7.1 but we expect the Indian version to come with updated Android 8.1 to the least. The LTE connectivity is equipped with Samsung’s proprietary security platform, Knox.

The Galaxy Tab Active2 is MIL-STD and is well protected against Accidental shocks, drops, Vibrations, rain, and dust. It can remain 1.5 meter underwater for 30 minutes with extreme temperature tolerance level. The Tab is backed up with 4450mAh removable battery, to deliver around 11 hours of battery backup on a full charge.
