Samsung Galaxy Watch Active Goes Official In India

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active is the latest wearable of the company, and it was unveiled earlier this year along with the latest and greatest Galaxy S10 series and the Samsung fitness tracker called Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e. Well, now the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Watch Active in the market of India.

It comes with bezel-less design and sports 1.1 inch Full Colour AOD AMOLED display with 360 x 360 pixels resolution, and comes with the protection of Gorilla Glass 3. The device is powered by Exynos 9110 processor and paired with the 768 MB of RAM along with 4 GB of internal storage.

The device also supports the heart rate sensor as well as stress sensor, along with Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Barometer, and Ambient Light. Furthermore, it also supports the indoor as well as outdoor activity tracking, and It will allow you to monitor exercise, sleep, and Blood Pressure.

The Galaxy Watch Active also features the Samsung digital assistant called Bixby and it runs on Tizen 4.0.0 3 which is based on Samsung One UI. The device also supports NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2. The wearable also has the IP68 rated for water resistance up to 50 meters and is also MIL-STD-810G certified for durability.

The wearable ships on 230 mAh battery and it also supports the wireless charging, and the device will be available in Silver, Black, Rose Gold and Sea Green colour options.

Pricing and availability

The wearable is priced at ₹19,990. It will be available across all retail stores, Samsung e-Shop and Samsung Opera House starting today, June 25 and will go on sale on Amazon from June 27th.
