The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has unveiled a brand new rugged phone and the device is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, it is coming with all the elements for the enterprise customers, field personnel, and other government officials.

The smartphone features a 5.1-inch QHD display with 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution, and it is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9810 processor along with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device supports 64GB of internal storage and that can be expandable up to 512 GB via micro SD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro rocks a 12-megapixel camera sensor at back with a dual aperture feature along with a triple LED flash. Upfront, the device has an 8-megapixel camera for the selfies and video calls. The device also supports a fingerprint scanner along with Knox for an additional layer of security. Moreover, the smartphone also has a MIL-STD-810G certified and passed a series of 21 rigorous durability tests, it also has an IP68 rating.
In terms of connectivity, the new device supports LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Band 14 support that is used by field personnel for emergency response communication. The device runs on Android Oreo and the company promises to provide 3 years of regular software updates, it ships on 4,500 mAh battery to keep the lights on.
