The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced its new Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro rugged smartphone and it is featuring a dual rear camera set up along with a strong body and it is running on Android 12 out of the box. The latest Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display along with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and you can able to touch the display while wearing gloves as well. The display of the device is also featuring a waterdrop like notch to accommodate the front facing camera. It comes with the IP68 water and dust resistant certification and MIL-810H industrial standard.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 778G mobile processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and which can be expandable using a micro SD card as well. The latest Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro smartphone is housing a 4,050 mAh battery with a 15W fast charging solution. It is worth mentioning that you need to purchase the charging adaptor separately. The device is running on Android 12 with OneUI.
The phone is also featuring a Programmable button and the same comes with an improved speaker system and Samsung Dex support. The device support 5G connectivity along with Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 6E among others.
Talking about the camera setup, the smartphone offers a dual camera set up including a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro offers a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
Pricing and availability
Samsung is yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of the device but the same will be available in selected regions next month. Having said that, it was believed that Samsung will launch the device on July 13.
