The South Korean electronics giant Samsung recently introduced its 6th generation folding devices dubbed the Fold 6 and Flip 6 and now the company has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Doraemon limited edition. The limited edition model of the device is official in the market of Hong Kong and the model is celebrating the “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS” exhibition. It is worth mentioning that there are only 800 units will be available.
The limited edition variant of the device features a light blue color reminiscent of Doraemon and the device comes pre-loaded with a special Doraemon theme. The theme of the device also features unique boot animations, lock screens, home screens, and even customized app icons.
Samsung has introduced the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Doraemon limited edition also includes a Doraemon-themed phone stand and the same features a magnetic design. The package of the device will also include a Doraemon-themed flipsuit case.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 limited edition is priced at HKD 10,698 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option. If you pre-order the device then you will be getting a free Doraemon tote bag.
Apart from the cosmetic changes, the internal of the device is the same as the originally announced model. The device comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3.4-inch outer cover AMOLED screen along with a 60Hz refresh rate.
The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the device features IP48 dust and water-resistant. The device comes with a 50MP main sensor (f1.8, OIS) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, it also features a 10MP selfie camera.
It has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The device comes with a vapor chamber for heat dissipation, and it houses a 4,000mAh battery with 25W charging. The device runs on OneUI 6.1-based Android 14, with 7 years of software support.
