The South Korean electronics giant Samsung will be launching its new generation devices in the folding segment, including the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and today the camera module design of the device appears online, and that reveals the company has listened to its fans and the device ditches those rigid camera rings.
Samsung introduced the new camera rings with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Z Fold 6, and the textured camera rings were meant to add visual flair, but they did not receive good attention. It is also reported that the company might be dropping the “Saturn Ring” design. The device is expected to feature a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera setup. The device is also said to come with a slim 8.2mm chassis when folded.
The upcoming device will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and it will be running on Android 16 out of the box. The device is expected to come with an 8.2-inch main AMOLED display and a 6.5-inch cover screen.
