Samsung will be hosting a new event on July 22 where the company will be introducing its latest folding devices including the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The company will also introduce its latest flip folding device as well. Today the complete specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 appear online. According to the latest information, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 will come with a 7.6-inch display with 2448×1848 pixels resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio. The device will also feature a 5.5-inch cover display with 1248×1972 pixels resolution. Both panels will have 120Hz refresh rate and the display substrate is reported to be the titanium.
The device is also reported to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy mobile processor along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB/512GB of storage or 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device will be available in Graphite, Cream, and Lavender colour options, the device will also be available in Pistachio colour option and it will be exclusive to Samsung’s online store.
It is reported to feature a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 50MP f/1.9 ultrawide. The device will come with 10MP f/2.2 front facing camera on both inner and outer panels. The phone houses a 4,800 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and it also has wireless charging. The device is also said to feature an IP48 certification for dust and water resistance. The device is reported to come with starting price of €1,999 in the markets of Germany.
On the other hand, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is reported to feature an internal folding screen with 2256×2504 pixels resolution, and a 6.5″ cover display with 1080×2520 pixels resolution. Both screens support 120Hz refresh rate.
The device will also come with a 200MP main camera with OIS and f/1.7 aperture, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture, and a new 50MP ultrawide camera with f/1.9 aperture. It is reported to feature a 10MP camera on each display, with f/2.2 aperture.
It is reported to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset and the same RAM/storage options as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The device is also reported to come with a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging and wireless charging support as well. It is reported to be available in Graphite, Cream, and Violet colour options. The device will also be available with a Green Shadow colour option but it will be exclusive to Samsung’s online store. The device is reported to come with starting price of €2,199.
