Along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung is also working on a wide foldable and it is expected to be called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. Today the renders of the device appear online.
According to a report shared by Android Headlines, the upcoming device is designed as a counterpart to the rumored foldable iPhone. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is expected to measure 123.9 x 82.2 x 9.8 mm when folded. When opened, it thins down to just 4.9 mm.
The camera bump features a noticeable bulk and the device has a vertically aligned dual-camera setup and when it comes then the total folded thickness comes to around 14.6 mm.
Samsung is expected to launch the device with a wider body and the outer screen is said to be 5.4 inches, while the inner display stretches to 7.6 inches. The device is also expected to come with a custom Snapdragon 8-series chip along with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The device is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired and 25W wireless charging. So let’s wait for more details about the device and it is expected to be announced in July this year.
