The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is having a tough time as they faced data breach and that includes a massive amount of data. It is reported that hackers have taken 190 GB of data of Samsung and that includes some important source codes as well.Â
According to the latest information, Samsung was hit with security breach in the early days of this month and the group behind the hacking was Lapsus$. It is said that the hackers have taken a large amount of data from Samsung Electronics.Â
The group behind the incident has taken 190 GB of data and that includes Samsung source codes and biometric information. It is worth mentioning that the source code included information of every Trusted Applet in Samsung’s TrustZone environment, which is responsible for every sensitive tasks such as hardware cryptography and access control.Â
Samsung is yet to respond to the incident and we believe that the company will explain more about the same in the coming days.
