The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has introduced new camera sensors and the same features pretty good capabilities. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details of the new camera sensors of the company.
ISOCELL GNJ
Let’s start with the ISOCELL GNJ, the sensor features a 50MP sensor with 1µm pixels and a 1/1.57-inch optical format. It also features dual-pixel autofocus for fast and accurate focusing, even in low light conditions and the same also features in-sensor zoom. It also comes with an improved anti-reflective layer and a high-refractive microlens as well.
Samsung says that the new sensor is energy efficient as the same uses 29% less power in preview mode and 34% less power when recording videos at 4K 60fps.
ISOCELL HP9
The ISOCELL HP9 features 200MP along with a 1/1.4-inch optical format and 0.56µm pixels. It comes with 12% higher light sensitivity and 10% better autofocus. This particular sensor can be used for both main and telephoto cameras and it also features a highly refractive microlens. The sensor will be offering good performance in low light with its 4×4 pixel binning. The lens also features 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom and can reach up to 12x optical-quality zoom with a 3x optical zoom lens.
ISOCELL JN5
The ISOCELL JN5 is a 50MP sensor and the same comes with a 1/2.76-inch size along with the capability to be used for ultrawide cameras in smartphones. It also features Dual Vertical Transfer Gate (Dual VTG) technology this will be improving pixel charge transfer, reducing noise in low light. Super Quad Phase Detection (Super QPD) will be enhancing autofocus accuracy. It also comes with Dual Slope Gain (DSG) and the sensor has hardware remosaic algorithms for faster capture and real-time zoom preview.
