Samsung has officially launched the latest Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor and it is the new 200 megapixel camera sensor of the brand. The new sensor brings a new pixel architecture called DeepPix among others. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.

The latest Samsung ISOCELL HPC comes with the company’s first DeepPix technology and the new pixel structure offers Full Well Capacity by 60 percent compared to the previous generation. It also supports single-frame 16-bit HDR and the sensor captures HDR information in a single frame. It is also capable of recording 8K video at 30fps and 4K video at up to 180fps.
It also comes with HDR support across multiple in-sensor zoom levels and it extends single-frame HDR to 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x, and 4x zoom. It also comes with Intelligent in-sensor downscaling. The latest camera sensor features a 1/1.3-inch optical format with 0.6μm pixels and an effective resolution of 16,384 × 12,288 pixels. The new sensor also comes with Samsung’s Tetra²pixel color filter, Super QPD autofocus, Smart-ISO Pro HDR, and supports RAW10, RAW12, RAW14, and RAW16 output formats.
The sensor also features High Precision Microlens and High Transmittance ARL technologies. Many new flagship devices are expected to come with the new Samsung camera sensor in the coming months.
