The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Buds Live were announced earlier this month at the Galaxy Unpacked event where the company has also launched its new Galaxy Note 20 series and more products. Well, today the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has launched two new wearables in the market of India. Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Watch 3
The smartwatch unveiled in two sizes – 45mm and 41mm, with 1.4 inch display and 1.2 inch display respectively and the same also features Super AMOLED and 360 x 360 pixels resolution along with the protection of Gorilla Glass DX. The bezel will be able to rotate and also to navigate across the OS.
Under the hood, it is powered by an Exynos 9110 chipset with dual-core CPU at 1.15 GHz and matted with 1GB RAM along with 8GB storage and the same also comes with a version with LTE modem and eSIM. Galaxy watch 3 also comes with the ability to measure the blood oxygen levels (SpO2).
The newly unveiled Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 also offers IP68 water and dust protection and supports the MIL-STD-810G standard for durability. The device runs on Tizen 5.5 and ships with a battery of 340 mAh or 247 mAh, depending on the size, and the same also supports wireless charging, as well as the standard one with magnetic circular pad.
Features of Samsung Galaxy Buds Live
Starting with the highlight of Galaxy Buds Live, it features ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), a first from the company. With ANC the TWS Earphones will be able to block external environmental noises and help you enjoy the music. The buds-shaped earbuds are of the in-ear type and come with detachable wingtips for a better fit.
Regarding the sound, it features 12 mm drivers which are sound-engineered by AKG and carry 3 microphones for better clarity in calls. The company claims that the earbuds will ensure 6 hours of continuous music playback as there is 60 mAh battery in each bud. This is combined with the charging case that can deliver 21 hours worth of charge, thanks to its 472 mAh cell. The charging case can be charged via the USB Type-C port as well as via Qi-Wireless Charging. Each Galaxy Buds Live weigh 5.6 grams whereas the charging case weighs about 42.2 grams.
Regarding the connectivity features, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and supports codecs like AAC, SBC and other scalable codecs. It features touch controls and wear detection to play/pause the music. These are also sweat and water-proof as they are IPX2-Certified for Dust and Water Resistance.
Pricing and availability
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 price in India starts at ₹29,990 while the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live priced at ₹14,990. The watch will go on sale from August 27 and the truly wireless earphones will be available from August 25.
