The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially introduced two new sensors and the same are called the Samsung ISOCELL Vizion 63D and ISOCELL Vizion 931. ISOCELL Vizion 63D
The newly announced ISOCELL Vizion 63D comes with a 3D ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor with a 1/6.4-inch sensor size and 3.5µm pixels and the same also comes with depth as well as distance with high precision. It is also capable to capture QVGA (320×240) images at 30fps and VGA (640×480) videos.
It features an integrated depth-sensing ISP which means it can eliminate the requirement of a separate chip and reduce power consumption. The chipset features high light absorption and low noise that is powered by the Backside Scattering Technology.
ISOCELL Vizion 931
While the Samsung ISOCELL Vizion 931 can capture entire scenes at once, and it can introduce motion blur. This particular sensor offers 640×640 resolution. It also features the highest industry quantum efficiency for its infrared light wavelength.
