The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is currently working on the next generation Samsung Galaxy S26 series and the company will be launching the flagship smartphone series in the early days of next year. The latest leak says that the company might retire the Plus variant from the next generation Galaxy S series and that is the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. It is reported that Samsung will be replacing the Plus variant from the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in 2026 and the company will be including the Edge variant instead of the Plus variant in the upcoming flagship smartphone series.
The Edge variant was introduced this year, and the same was launched separately which means the Edge variant was not launched in the first launch event of Samsung in January this year, alongside the other models of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and the Edge variant was launched in the second quarter of this year.
