The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially announced its latest custom skin during the annual Developer Conference and the same is called One UI 6.0 which is based on the latest Android 14 operating system. The company has made lots of changes and made multiple improvements on the board.
One of the biggest changes of the latest One UI 6.0 is the Quick Panel and the same is now divided into different sections, with connectivity tiles for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the top and you will also get a large section for quick settings icons in the middle, the company also features a brightness slider and eye care controls, Smart View, and Device control at the bottom.
Samsung also brings a new exclusive typeface called One UI Sans along with new AI photo editing tools, and a new feature called Samsung Studio that will enable you to edit videos with multiple layers along with the options to add text, stickers, and music to a video timeline.
The new One UI 6.0 brings a new emoji design along with the picture and video previews in the Share panel and the latest custom skin also comes with more sharing options. The latest One UI 6.0 features multitasking improvements and a lock screen clock can be positioned freely.
Samsung also simplified app icon labels for the home screen in the latest One UI 6.0 and you will be getting a new Weather widget that will be offering more information including an interactive map view as well as enhanced Weather illustrations. It also brings a series of improvements in the camera including a new widget, more alignment options for watermarks, quick access to resolution settings, easy-to-apply filters and effects, and more. You will also feel improvements in Calendar, Reminder, and Samsung Internet.
The company offers quick actions for apps in Finder search results and recommendations in the My Files app to help you free up storage and smarter Airplane mode. The One UI 6.0 also features auto blocker and the same is adding an extra layer of protection to prevent unknown applications. You can able to customise Bixby text call greetings and the option to switch to Bixby text call at any time, even during a call. The latest update will provide more accessibility features that includes new magnification options and custom cursor thickness options.
There is no information about the specific date for releasing the new custom skin but we believe that Samsung will be releasing the same very soon.
