Samsung is constantly trying hard to do innovation in their Fold series. And why not? Folding display is still a very new thing and we still have a lot more space to explore. This year’s Galaxy Z Fold3 is very great practical foldable smartphone. Now Samsung has it’s eyes on it’s successor, and today’s leak is about the same.
According to the latest leak, Samsung is working on a dual side fingerprint sensor for Galaxy Z Fold4 smartphone. The South Korean giant has registered a patent which is about an under display fingerprint sensor working from both sides. This means that the sensor will work from main inside display as well as secondary front display. Samsung will do it by putting a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) between both the displays.
But as this is just a patent, chances are that Samsung may or may not implement this feature in Z Fold4. Maybe they can’t make this work properly or maybe it can go too expensive. What are your thoughts on this new sandwiched fingerprint sensor between two breads (displays) by Samsung? Let us know in the comment section below.
