Samsung and Reliance Jio join hands to expand LTE service across India

We all were aware about the joint press conference of Samsung and Reliance Jio, now we got the results of the Press Conference at the MWC event. Both the companies joins their hands to launch I&G (Infill and growth) project.

 

 

With the new project, it is aimed at upgrading current LTE mobile connectivity across India by expanding both the current network capacity as well as the network coverage.

 

The I&G project will utilise the spectrum in the 850, 1800 and 2300 MHz bands to offer superior indoor and outdoor connectivity in dense areas. Samsung claims that with this new project, Jio would definitely extend its coverage in rural areas by expanding its reach to over 90% of the population.
