Samsung Reveals Roadmap For Android 10

From the past couple of months, we are witnessing the roadmap for Android 10 of various smartphone brands and now today the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has released the roadmap for its devices in India as well as China.

Samsung roadmap for China

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S10 series will receive the Android 10 update in January 2020 in the Chinese region and the software update will hit on the Galaxy A40s, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G in February next year. The Galaxy S9 series will receive the latest Android update in March 2020 and the Galaxy A90 5G, Galaxy A80, Galaxy A60, and Galaxy A9 Star will receive an Android 10 update in April. The Galaxy A9 Star will get the upgrade in May along with Galaxy A70, Galaxy A9 Star lite, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy M30s, Galaxy A9 2018 and Galaxy Tab S6 will be updated with Android 10.

Samsung will push the update to the Galaxy S and W2019 clamshell phone in June and in July, the Galaxy A20s, Galaxy A6s, and Galaxy Tab S4 will get the latest taste. The Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A are queued in August, while the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 2018 edition and Galaxy Tab A with S-Pen will get Android 10 in September. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will be offered Android 10 upgrade in October 2020. The roadmap confirms that the Galaxy Note 8 and the Galaxy S8 series will not receive the latest version of the Android update.

Samsung roadmap for India

Now let’s talk about the timeline for the Indian units, the company will start the Galaxy S9 series and the devices will receive the update in January 2020 while the Galaxy Note 9 is also scheduled for the same month. Having said that, the Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, Galaxy A30, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy Note 10 series will also get the update in January 2020. Then the company will roll out the update to the Galaxy M40 in March 2020.

The company will bring the Android 10 for Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus in April 2020, along with the Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A9 (2018), Galaxy A50, Galaxy A50s, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A80, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy M30s, and Galaxy Tab S6. The Galaxy A8 Star, Galaxy A10, Galaxy A10s, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30s, and Galaxy M10s will receive the update in May 2020.

In June, Samsung will roll out the update for the Galaxy On6, Galaxy J6, as well as Galaxy A20s, and in the month of July, the update will hit on Galaxy J6 Plus, Galaxy J7 Duo, Galaxy On8, Galaxy J8, Galaxy Tab S4, and Galaxy Tab S5e. The Galaxy Tab A 8 will get the update in August 2020, while the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 (2018) and the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 will receive the Android 10 in September 2020.
