The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is believed to introduce its new 200MP HP1 sensor and we don’t have any information about the first phone which will arrive with the massive camera sensor on the board. The company is now actually hyping the credentials of its 200MP HP1 sensor with a video which is showing the capability of the upcoming sensor.
Samsung announced the ISOCELL HP1 sensor in September last year the company has showcased the monster sensor in a video that details how the HP1 sensor was attached to a Frankenstein rig having a test board, an external display, and another lens. The company used the new setup by capturing photos of a cat and the same printed on an industrial printer.
The image of the cat was done on a 28 x 22 meters canvas with several 2.3m pieces attached together and the same hung on a building. The HP1 sensor is capable of zooming or cropping images. The new ChamelonCell pixel binning technology is another great feature of the camera sensor.
