The South Korean electronics giant showcased another magic in the display technology as the company showcased the microLED display for smartwatches at the CES 2025 event. The display has 4000 nits of peak brightness, or 33 percent brighter than the OLED screen which is available in the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The newly showcased display features a 2.1″ in size along with 418 x 540 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. In theory, MicroLED displays offer a much longer lifespan than OLED screens and it also offers a faster response.
We don’t have any information about the availability of the new display in the market at the moment of time but we believe that Samsung will be revealing more about the same in the coming months.
