Samsung To Open Display Plant In India Soon

The South Korean electronics giant Samsung finally overcame all the obstacles and received the Green Signal by the government to set up its display plant on the soil of India. Well, that means the company can able to develop displays for its product in India and its a great achievement for the country as well as the entire smartphone industry of the country.

Samsung will open the display plant in Noida, close to its smartphone manufacturing facility which is the biggest in the world and the company will invest $500 million for the plant in India. The electronics giant will kick-off with the smartphone displays along with the accompanying accessories as well as parts and the company will also get into the television as well as a laptop department as well but in the initial stage.

The company will open the brand new display plant in India in the month of April which means we are still a couple of months away from the new plant. Having said that, the company is also planning to set up the battery plant in India but we don’t have much details regarding the same at this moment of time.

Anyways, this is a great thing to know as the company investing a great amount in the country which will definitely help to boost the economy as well as to get employment for many guys of the country. This will also help Samsung to reduce the pricing of its devices in the market of India.
