The popular chip makers of Smartphones are working hard to bring more power to the budget as well as mid-range smartphones and that will give a good user experience to the users who can’t able to afford a flagship smartphone. Well, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung adds a new processor in Exynos 7 series, and the new one is dubbed as the Exynos 7904 and that will strengthen the camera department of the mid-range smartphones.

The latest Exynos 7904 is based on the 14nm process and employs eight cores, the architecture of the new SoC have two Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 1.8GHz for resource-intensive tasks, while six Cortex-A53 cores are clocked at 1.6GHz. Moreover, it will also bring more power to the multimedia as well as the camera department of mid-range smartphones.
With the new Exynos 7904, the company is bringing triple camera support into the mid-range smartphones, which means now the mid-range smartphone users can able to capture some high-quality images as well as they will also get a good bokeh effect. That’s not all, the processor supports full-HD with 1920 x 1080 pixels video playback at 120fps and UHD with 3840 x 2160 pixels video playback at 30fps. Furthermore, the processor can also able to offer full HD_ display resolution.
Talking about the connectivity, the chipset comes with an LTE modem which has support for Cat.12 3-carrier aggregation (CA) standard which facilitates a peak downlink speed of 600Mbps. The new processor of Samsung is under the mass production and the company said that it has been ‘customized for India’ but did not reveal any timeline.
