Recently we got our first rendered image of Galaxy Note 8, which shows the Dual Camera Setup on it’s back. With that render we got an idea that Galaxy Note 8 may have horizontal Dual Camera Setup, but we don’t have any idea what that secondary camera will do? Now seems like we have some information about the same. Samsung at MWC Shanghai has presented some new type of cameras under Samsung’s own ISOCELL camera brand, which includes some information about Dual Camera Setup.
They unveiled 4 different type of new ISOCELL cameras : ISOCELL Bright, ISOCELL Slim, ISOCELL Fast, and ISOCELL Dual. We are looking at the 4th one in this article i.e. ISOCELL Dual. This is a 13MP + 13MP Dual Camera with f2.0 lens, autofocus, and 1.12µm pixel size. The secondary camera has monochrome & sRGB sensors. Well this is the same sensor used in Huawei P10. By the way we are talking about monochrome and sRGB sensors, not this ISOCELL Dual. Also do note that Samsung hasn’t confirmed that they are going to use the same camera in Galaxy Note 8, but as the launch is not so far & Samsung has just introduced this lens, the probability of ISOCELL Dual sensor in Note 8 is increased.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Do you love to see monochrome and sRGB sensors in Galaxy Note 8’s Camera ? Or you want something like what we have seen in iPhone 7 Plus & OnePlus 5 ? Do let us know in the comments below. Stay tuned with us for more information.
