The entire smartphone industry is waiting for the LG G7 ThinQ, as it is scheduled to launch on today i.e. May 2, but Samsung unveils its two new devices ahead of the LG. The newly launched Samsung devices are called Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+, so let’s check out the specification, pricing, and availability details of both the new devices.
Galaxy A6

Let’s start with the Samsung Galaxy A6, the device sports uni-body metal construction and has curves along the edges at the back and looks like a premium smartphone. The Galaxy A6 comes with 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display and has 1480 x 720 pixels resolution with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by 1.6 GHz Octa Core processor and paired with 3/4 GB RAM. In terms of storage, the 3 GB RAM variant of the device comes with 32 GB of internal storage and the 4 GB RAM variant of the device has 64 GB of onboard storage. If the internal storage is not enough for you, then the device will allow you to expand the storage upto 256 GB via microSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the device has 16 megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash, along with 16 megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and adjustable LED flash. The device also features a Fingerprint Scanner, and Face Recognition for the security of a user. It also has the features like App Pair, Samsung Pay, Dolby Atmos Audio and Samsung’s own virtual assistant Bixby.
Talking about the connectivity options, the device supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, micro USB, 3.5 mm headphone hack, and GPS. It runs on Android Oreo 8.0, and backed on 3,000 mAh battery. Speaking about the color choices, the device will be available in Black, Gold, Blue, Lavender.
Galaxy A6+

Now coming to the Galaxy A6+, it is the bigger variant of the Galaxy A6. As the device sports 6-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display along with 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.The device is powered by 1.8 GHz Octa Core processor and paired with 3/4 GB RAM. In terms of storage, the 3 GB RAM variant of the device comes with 32 GB of internal storage and the 4 GB RAM variant of the device has 64 GB of onboard storage. Moreover, the device also allow you to expand the storage upto 256 GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the device has dual rear camera setup with the combination of 16 megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) + 5 megapixel (f/1.9 aperture) with Live Focus and LED flash, along with 24 megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and adjustable LED flash. The device also features a Fingerprint Scanner, and Face Recognition for the security of a user. It also has the features like App Pair, Samsung Pay, Dolby Atmos Audio and Samsung’s own virtual assistant Bixby.

Pricing and availability of the devices
The company hasn’t said any word about the pricing details of both the devices, and it will be available in selected markets of Europe, Latin America, and Asia starting this month, and the device will be available in South Korea, Africa, and China later on.
Going through the features, I would expect that the company will launch the device with the price tag of ₹18,000 for Galaxy A6 and the Galaxy A6+ may come with the price tag of ₹22,000.
