We are hearing the rumours about the Android Go powered smartphone from Samsung, and we also saw a few leaks also. Well, today the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has stopped all the rumours by launching the first Android Go smartphone in the Indian market and the device is called a Galaxy J2 Core.
Well, as I mentioned above that the device is powered by the Android Go and runs on the Android Oreo 8.1 (Go edition). As the device is based on Android Go, that means the smartphone is optimized for the low-end specs. Moreover, Samsung also implements a new feature called the ‘Optimized Data Control’ and it will help users to browse without any worry of exceeding data limit.
The Galaxy J2 Core sports 5 inch QHD display and has 960 X 540 pixels resolution, it is powered by 1.4 GHz quad core Exynos 7570 processor and coupled with 1 GB RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone has 8 GB of internal storage and it can be expandable via microSD card.
Coming to the photography department, the Galaxy J2 Core supports 8 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, and the smartphone also has a 5 megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Regarding the connectivity, it supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and micro USB. Finally, the smartphone ships on 2,600 mAh battery.
