The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has introduced its new Samsung 200 megapixel ISOCELL HPX sensor. The new chipset is coming after the announcement of the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 200MP sensor and the same was announced in the month of June this year.
The latest Samsung 200 megapixel ISOCELL HPX features a 0.56-micron pixel size and the same is capable to reduce the area of the camera module by 20% and that will enable the company to offer a thinner and smaller smartphone body.
It is also coming with the power of Samsung’s Advanced DTI (Deep Trench Isolation) technology the same is capable to isolate each pixel along with the ability to boost sensitivity to take clear vivid pictures. It is also coming with ultra-quick and ultra-precise autofocus and that is mainly because of the Super QPD autofocus solution.
The sensor is also featuring Tetra pixel (16 pixels in one) technology and the same is capable to offer a positive shooting experience in low light. Under that kind of conditions, the latest sensor HPX can automatically switch between three different lighting modes based on the available light.
It is also said that the dynamic performance of the sensor is capable to offer sharp images even under low light situations. The latest Samsung 200 megapixel ISOCELL HPX sensor is capable of recording 8K video at 30 frames per second and the same supports seamless dual HDR shooting in 4K and FHD modes. Staggered HDR.
The sensor will also enable you to render the image at over 4 trillion colors as well. There is no information about the availability of the new sensor at this moment of time but we believe that the company will be using this on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone.
