Upon having complaints on our devices, we take it to the repair centre and we reset the device or backup to keep the data safe from unauthorized people but the procedure to backup data is a bit confusing for many users and that’s why they are raised their complete data. To tackle this situation, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has introduced a new feature called Repair Mode.
The newly implemented feature by Samsung is available in the Battery and Device Care section of the Settings menu. When you activate the feature, it will reboot your device and the mode will keep your all personal information safely including images, texts, accounts, and even apps (only the default installed apps will be active).
You can turn off the feature using your fingerprint or pattern lock and the same will restart your device and bring back all your data. It is worth mentioning that if the technician has done any modification during the repair then the same will be undone.
Having said that, the latest and greatest Samsung Galaxy S21 series will receive the new Repair Mode first via a software update. The company has also said that the feature will be available in other models in the future.
