Samsung’s Android Go Smartphone Appears On Geekbench

We are hearing about the Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones on the regular basis, and we also came across various reports of the multiple devices of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series. Well, today we got new information about an upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone. However, we don’t know the actual name of the device but it is an Android Go powered smartphone.

The Android Go powered Samsung’s A series smartphones appeared on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench. A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-A260F listed on the Geekbench, and the listing reveals that the device is powered by the Exynos 7870 processor and paired with 1 GB of RAM.

The device is running on Android Oreo 8.1 and then we can see there is ‘go’ mentioned in the section of motherboard and this indicates that the device is powered by the Android Go version. Furthermore, the smartphone has scored 726 and 2984 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively.

Well, if you are unaware about the Android Go devices then it is the lighter version of the Android operating system and it’s developed for the low-end devices to run smoothly.
