After a disastrous show from Note 7, Samsung is back on track with its current flagship the Galaxy S8. Now, the Korean giant is gearing up to launch its next big thing, the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung has always used to have two flagships a year to tackle the tough competition from the rivals, especially Apple. So as usual the expectations are sky-high as it is a Samsung device and that too a flagship.
While there were various rumors doing the rounds regarding the Note 8 launch including the one from popular leakster Evan Blass which claimed as a September launch have been proven wrong. Samsung mobile has officially claimed that the Galaxy Note 8 will be launched at IFA 2017, New York.

Though we don’t have a fixed date, Samsung has locked the Second half of August it seems. Financial publication The Bell reported that the Note 8 would be unpacked on August 23. The Investor picked up the report and added a confirmation from a Samsung executive, though the unnamed executive stopped short from confirming the precise date of the event. Not to mention that the first few generations of Note phones were launched in IFA events, whereas Samsung prefers standalone UNPACKED events for the last few generations.
Regarding the Specs, the Note 8 might feature the same Snapdragon 835 Processor as the S8 while the display size is expected to be at 6.3-inch. Obviously, the unique S pen separates the Note 8 from the rest as it has carved a niche for itself among the audience. While the LG V30 and the Google pixel is may play the spoilsport. But what might turn to be a nightmare and could halt the Note 8 sales heavily is the iPhone 8. As iPhone 8’s design is very similar to that of Note 8 they may face head to head in the clash of titans.
