Just a couple of days ago, the backbone of Google – Sundar Pichai has officially confirmed to launch the arrival of ChatGPT and now the search engine giant Google has officially announced its new conversations artificial intelligence (AI) technology called Google Bard.
The newly announced Google Bard will directly compete with ChatGPT created by OpenAI, with the power of Google’s large language model called Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA).
The search engine giant has officially revealed that the latest Google Bard will be available to “trusted testers” before making the service available for a wider range of audience or before the public release.
Making the announcement, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, said: “Soon, you’ll see AI-powered features in Search that distill complex information and multiple perspectives into easy-to-digest formats, so you can quickly understand the big picture and learn more from the web: whether that’s seeking out additional perspectives, like blogs from people who play both piano and guitar, or going deeper on a related topic, like steps to get started as a beginner.”
As of now, we don’t have any other details about the new Google Bard and the company is yet to reveal the availability information of the service as well.
