As the first half of 2018 is near to its end, leaks of second half flagship smartphones are slowly popping up. And talking about second half flagships, Google’s Pixel series is a very essential part. Recently a leaked image showed a rendered image of Pixel 3 which showed a notch-less display and dual camera setup at the back. Now today, it’s time for the 1st live leaked image related to Pixel 3. Let’s have a look.
As I said before, this leak is the live image that’s related to Pixel 3, but it’s not the Pixel 3 or 3 XL. Actually, it’s a leaked live image of screen protectors of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. As you can see from the image below, you will notice the difference between the display of both the devices. The Pixel 3 has a notch less display with thin bezels and the cut-outs above the display indicates that it will have dual camera setup at the front as well. At the bottom of the display, there’s a cut-out in line shape, which might be made for new navigation toggle. Now looking at the Pixel 3 XL’s screen protector, it is same from the bottom, a bit more thin from left & right, and has the on-trend notch. Well, that’s not so obvious because the Android P Developer Preview has a notch support. There’s surely a noticeable change in terms of size, the Pixel 3 XL surely has the bigger screen with less ratio. But still regular Pixel 3 looks a lot compact as compared to bigger XL.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Looking at the layout, it seems like Google is planning to place notch as a premium, that’s why they place it on the XL variant, not on regular one.
