Vodafone just launched a new tablet dubbed as Smart Tab N8. It is an entry level device made by TCL, the same company behind the recent launches of Blackberry and Alcatel devices. It’s available in Volcano Black color only as of now. The tablet packs very basic features and specifications.
The Smart Tab N8 measures at 260x155x8.95 mm and weighs 465g which is both at heavier and thicker side.
It has a 10.1 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1200×800 pixels. It is powered by an Octa core MediaTek MT8735B processor clocked at 1.1 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage is 16GB which is expandable via MicroSD card. To power the device there’s a 4,600 mAh battery provided which should be sufficient enough to keep the device alive for one full day.
In camera department, the device has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP selfie shooter. The tablet will run on Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. The official price is not known yet but seeing the specifications it seems very basic device which should be priced in the budget segment.
