The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset is claimed to offer a 27 percent increase in CPU performance, 30 percent faster GPU graphics renderings, and 65 percent AI improvements compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. The latest processor also features the Kyro CPU architecture and the same offers 1 prime core clocked up to 2.8GHz, 4 performance cores clocked up to 2.4GHz, and 3 efficiency cores with up to 1.8GHz clock speed.
It also comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0/UFS 3.1/UFS 2 storage. The latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile processor also features the Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine 4.0 and the same is said to intelligently schedule resources.
The mobile processor also supports Snapdragon Adaptive Game Configuration and the same is said to fine-tune CPU and GPU performance in real-time. The processor also supports the Snapdragon Game Super Resolution and Qualcomm Game Quick Touch.
It also features Hexagon NPU with support for Gen AI features and the same are powered by the Qualcomm AI Engine. The processor will be supporting features including image generation with Stable Diffusion 1.5. It also supports LLMs offers smart voice assistants, real-time translation, and more.
The newly announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 also comes with the support for Qualcomm Expanded Personal Area Network (XPAN) technology and we can find this feature usually in the 8-series chipsets. The latest processor also supports Qualcomm aptX Voice, aptX Lossless, and aptX Adaptive. It can support WQHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4K 60Hz maximum external display.

The processor also supports Real-time Video Super Resolution, AI-powered auto focus, auto white balance, and auto exposure. It also comes with hardware-electronic image stabilisation and the processor includes connectivity options such as Snapdragon 5G Modem-RF System, Wi-Fi 7/6/5, USB 3.1, integrated Bluetooth 6.0, and GPS.
