The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm will host its new event in September where the company will be launching its flagship processor dubbed the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Today the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the benchmarking scores of the upcoming processor.
According to the latest information, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor will be coming with Qualcomm’s second-generation Oryon CPU architecture. On Geekbench 6, the upcoming chipset has achieved over 4,000 points in single-core tests and 11,000 points in multi-core scores.
It is expected that the processor will support a 16MB GMEM cache and an upgraded Adreno 840 GPU. The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to feature a 2+6 CPU structure with a maximum clock speed of up to 5GHz and the processor is expected to be built with TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process. The CPU is expected to feature a base frequency of 4.4GHz.
