It is reported that the next generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor will be announced by the end of September this year and it is earlier than the usual launch timeline.
Moreover, the source has also reported that the first smartphone with the power of the next generation Snapdragon flagship processor will be launched in the markets in the month of October this year.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset will come with a base frequency of 4.4GHz and the same will feature a second-generation self-developed CPU architecture, with the GPU’s dedicated cache of 16MB.
The upcoming processor will be using TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process and let’s wait for more details about the chipset in the coming months.
