The popular mobile chipset maker Qualcomm is reportedly working on a new version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor and it is said to be a more affordable version. The upcoming affordable version of the processor is said to be launched later this year.
According to the reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, the affordable variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor will be coming with the model number SM8850-1-AB.
Early Geekbench 6 scores suggest it performs very close to the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variant. It is reported that the upcoming processor will be coming with the same core design with some tweaks to binning.
