Qualcomm is reportedly working on its next generation flagship mobile processor called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the same is expected to be announced earlier its usual launching timeline this year. Now the complete specification details of the mobile processor appear online.
Leaked specifications of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
It is said that the upcoming Snapdragon flagship mobile processor will be featuring a unique 2+3+2+1 architecture and the same will be including 2 Arm “silver” cores named “Hayes” (A5xx), 3 Arm “gold” cores named “Hunter” (A7xx), 2 Arm “titanium” cores named “Hunter” (A7xx), and 1 Arm “gold+” core named “Hunter ELP” (Xn).
The report is also saying that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor will not support 32-bit Android apps and games and this makes the developers to make applications and games in the 64-bit architecture.
Moreover, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is also coming with an Adreno 750 GPU (Adreno Gen 7.9.0) clocked at 770MHz. The upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is compatible with the upcoming Android 14 and Linux Kernel 6.1 as well.
